I've been kind of obsessed with Erin Wasson's line of jewelry lately - specifically her rings and bracelets. Apparently she is a model turned jewelry designer although I knew nothing about her before I came across her line, "Low Luv x Erin Wasson." There is definitely a tribal influence to each of her pieces which I really like. I also like the fact that none of her pieces are super polished - they have a kind of hand-made quality to them. See for yourself!

Hard Water
Who would have guessed that you could make beautiful art from a bunch of cheap corningware? Well, artist Zeger Reyers has proved that you can. You may have heard about him due to the press he received for his installation, "The Rotating Kitchen", in which he set up a small fully-stocked kitchen inside a vertically-rotating, life-sized shadow box and let the disaster run its course. Anyways, below are some images of his cleverly named "Hard Water" piece. Though each plate is meticulously placed, collectively, they create something that is beautiful and fluid.

Invisible Man
Artist Liu Bolin's artwork is unique - he is the canvas and in every instance, he attempts to be painted into his outside environment. He says his art is symbolic of the need to fit into a society that doesn't accept him; and often more directly, it's an act of protest against the Chinese government. Really amazing stuff.

Psychedelic
Artist Holton Rower pours cup after cup of paint over three dimensional objects, creating a beautiful layering effect. Lovely...and psychedelic.
